Our Practitioners & Services

Jennifer Graham, RMT & Bowen Therapist

Jenny graduated from the Canadian Therapeutic College in 2006. After many years in a multidisciplinary clinic, she noticed her natural gift for understanding individual needs and a strong intuition to be able to pinpoint the area of concern and then correct it. As word got out that she was small but mighty, the bulk of her clientele became elite athletes and stunt performers - those that truly relied on her skill set to get them back to theirs :)

After many years of practicing her passion, it was time to open her own place and increase availability to all those that needed her. Jenny's specialty and gift is in treatment of injury, but her passion for massage has left many, including children and elderly, feeling overall benefits and a connection with her as part of their health care team. It’s a fact - Jenny LOVES what she does and was born to do it.

Steve Gate, Chiropractor

Steve grew up in Waterdown and attended Waterdown High, then went to Queen’s University and attained a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences (Hons). He graduated from the National University of Health Sciences in 2000, and spent some time working in the US outside of Chicago. Since that time Steve has always worked in clinics with multiple types of practitioners, as he finds this allows you to help people in different ways you could not do with just one type of treatment.

Steve believes that most common muscular conditions can be avoided if the body is moving the way it is supposed to. This involves proper movement through the mid-back to avoid problems with the shoulders, knees and ankles, and that many problems can also be helped with proper pelvic alignment. Steve uses manual adjustment techniques as well as non-adjustive techniques like soft tissue work, activator adjusting tool and flex/distraction, which is an extremely effective technique for treating severe low back pain. Some people are hesitant to go to a chiropractor as they think they will have to be going for months and months and may have to pay up front or pay a monthly fee. This is not how Steve practices, and he looks forward to being able to help anyone who comes to our clinic to move properly and avoid injuries in the future.

Gordon Fyfe, RMT & Osteopath (student)

Gord graduated from Brock University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies. He entered the insurance sector and worked with a number of companies dealing with clients injured in motor vehicle accidents. After years in the insurance industry he realized that he needed to work with people to help return them to normal function and thus returned to school in 2008.

Gord is passionate about fitness, especially running. He has always had an interest in rehabilitation and injury prevention. It was back in 2004 that Gord was training for a marathon and felt as though something was impeding his performance. He had heard of an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner in his area and sought help. Through assessment and gentle movements, the practitioner was able to help Gord with his injury. Gord did not know exactly what the practitioner had done, but knew that this was the field he needed to work in.

Gord completed his studies at Canadian Therapeutic College in 2009, graduating with a Diploma in Massage Therapy with the intent of entering the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto. He began his studies with the CCO that fall and continues them today. Whether it be a sports injury, whiplash or a scar from a surgery, the body has an amazing ability to heal itself, and Gord’s goal is to help return the body to normal function.

Gord has had the opportunity to work with a number of amateur and professional athletes including weekend warriors, Ironman triathletes, the stars of the CBC show Battle of the Blades and the hit U.K. show Dancing on Ice.
